About Us

We are Bob and Ginny and have always enjoyed traveling as a family since we were married in 1963.  As our 4 children were growing up, they all provided us with many wonderful memories of camping, hiking, game playing, and other travel activities. Now that we are retired, we continue to enjoy each other’s company as we tour the United States and Canada. In a typical year, we are usually on the road 3 to 4 months and cover around 12,000 miles … we enjoy the journey as much as the destination.

In 2007, at the same time we were starting out on our “Maiden Voyage” with our new motorhome, our son Doug was leaving for a mission trip to Malawi, Africa. Doug surprised us by creating this website  so we could share our travel experiences with everyone and he could  track our progress from Africa. It worked out well, so we are continuing to use the website to summarize our travels. We sincerely hope you enjoy our website and please feel free to add your comments.
