		<description><![CDATA[Gilroy (Garlic Capital of the World): Our home base for a few days while we explored some of the local area attractions.


Santa Cruz: It was a beautiful day to stroll along the boardwalk in Santa Cruz.




We just had to have some &#8220;Gilroy&#8221; Garlic Fries.

		<title>Lodi &amp; Stockton</title>
		<description><![CDATA[It&#8217;s been pretty hot here in the San Juaquin Valley, but we were able stay cool in the shade of the trees in the local parks. There were nice trails to ride our bikes, and one of the parks even had a beautiful Japanese garden and a neat little zoo.

		<description><![CDATA[Of course we had to start at a local landmark for some great BBQ.


Nevada&#8217;s state capital building.

The governor&#8217;s mansion.

This house was used throughout John Wayne&#8217;s last movie &#8220;The Shootist&#8221;.

The sign refers to the city, not the young lady 

We had a great fast ride in this stagecoach.

		<title>Lake Tahoe</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Perfect weather every day, with clear blue skies and temperature in the low 80&#8217;s.


Squaw Valley: Site of the 1960 Winter Olympics


Ginny sat it out while Robert rode the cable car to the top of the mountain.



They even had a beautiful swimming pool way up there.

Back at Tahoe Valley Campground.
